What we love
Another terrific wine from Flywheel is the 2013 Pinot Noir Brosseau Vineyard. This small “insider” label only makes 250 cases annually, with all the wines crafted from the Chalone AVA. The 2013 Brosseau Pinot Noir shows layers of fruit (strawberry, plum, currants), and hints of baking spices, cola, vanilla, and oak add complexity and nuance.
About this Wine
The award-winning Brosseau Vineyard is one of a kind. It sits on limestone, decomposed granite, and volcanic soils that aid in producing wines with crunchy minerality and freshness.
