Markus Wine Co.
What we love
Swiss-born winemaker Markus Niggli is passionate about creating blends using rare grapes. His wines are unlike other blends you’ll find in California. The 2016 Torrontés is exotically spiced and tropical, displaying notes of gardenia, shaved coconut, banana and pineapple. Mineral complexity adds a drying, chalky texture. Markus has a truly magic touch as a winemaker.
About this Wine
This explosive white wine is intoxicating, with aromas reminiscent of a Brazilian fruit stand and Hawaiian leis. Flavors shift around over the course of an evening, making for a totally intriguing and amazing experience.
A terrific warm weather wine that can pair with so many options. It’s great with fatty fish and creamy sauces, and perfect with tangy dishes, like sweet-and-sour pork, glazed ribs, Costco hot dogs with sauerkraut, and salads drizzled with vinaigrette. Cheers!
Drink now through 2023.
