    While still a fairly new kid on the block, PRIE exhibits a deft touch with every grape; in this case, with Barbera sourced just down the road from their tiny winery in Lodi, California. With this wine, winemaker John Gash explores the feminine side of Barbera, crafting a wine that’s fragrant and light, with notes tangy cherry and raspberry. Pairs beautifully with pasta in a marinara sauce and chorizo!

About this Wine

Barbera has many devotees among connoisseurs of California wine. Fruity and full of flavor but low in sugar, and boasting a juiciness that undoubtedly makes it one of the food-friendliest red wines. Owners John and Lisa Gash were lured to Lodi by the opportunity to purchase an 8.5-acre vineyard, where they built a working winery and sleek, cozy tasting room.
