What we love
Hand-crafted with grapes sourced from Mendocino County, where they are grown sustainably and organically. Expect a wine that’s a juicy mix of red and black fruits, smooth, medium-bodied, drying tannins, and has an earthy spice at the end. A crowd-pleaser through and through.
About this Wine
We’ve all been there. You need wine to bring to a friend’s, or as a last-minute gift, or when a bunch of friends come over to hang, but you don’t have anything on hand. So, you run to the nearest store and grab a few bottles of wine you know nothing about.
You need not be in that situation any more. The “it tastes fancy” Inizi HI-JUMP Red has you covered. You know it’s good, it’s not expensive, and everyone is going to like it. No decanting necessary, just pop-n-pour and serve with or without food. You don’t even need to think about pairings as it’ll match nicely with nearly everything, from pizza and tacos, to ready-made rotisserie chicken. It even goes well with salmon and tuna. This is the ultimate “easy button” of wine. Cheers!
1,200 cases produced.

Owners + Winemakers + Farmers
INIZI means 'beginnings' in Italian. The name INIZI came from the belief that a bottle of wine begins in the vineyard and should reflect not only the variety of the grape, but also the place it was grown and the farming practices.
INIZI Wines was founded by two couples, A.J. and Jen Filipelli and John and Kirsti Harley. A series of random events brought them together… A.J. and John became friends while attending Fresno State University. A.J. studied Viticulture (grape growing) and John studied Enology (winemaking). Their mutual love of wine made them quick and life-long friends.
In 2012, with invaluable marketing help from their wives, INIZI was born. When you visit INIZI’s tasting room, you will enjoy outstanding Italian varietals hand-produced right in Sonoma County.
