  • What we love

This excellent vineyard seems to always creates delicious, popular Pinot Noir. It is plush with richness and ripe fruit characteristics, but it also has balanced acidity and enough tannin to keep everything where it needs to be. Sweet red fruits and baking spices, along with some savory and oaky tones. This is a light to medium bodied Pinot that is hard not to like. Cheers!

About this Wine

Durant Vineyard is one of the pioneer vineyards in Oregon. The site was established and first planted in 1973 by the same family that owns and farms it to this day. The vineyard is located in Dundee Hills, a sub-appellation within the Willamette Valley about 28 miles southwest of Portland and 40 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. The area is known for its rich, red volcanic Jory soil, which provides excellent drainage for superior quality wine grapes. 170 cases produced.
