Santa Barbara, CA
A Tribute to Grace
What we love
New Zealand born winemaker, Angela Osborne sources Grenache from some of the most unique sites along California’s Central Coast and the Sierra Foothills. This is an extremely smooth, mellow, complex and interesting wine. From the first whiff of cedar and cinnamon in the aroma, to intricate flavors of raspberry, black tea and clove, it brings a lot of nuances to the palate and wraps them in a soft blanket of mild acidity and light tannins.
About this Wine
Sourced from five biodynamically farmed vineyards, including the Highlands Vineyard which is bottled as a single-vineyard wine separately, this is a beautiful introduction to Angela Osborne's winemaking. The wine is balanced between ripe fruit and those hallmark savory herb characteristics which make Grenache wines famous in France and South Australia, while the neutral oak aging lends a softness without overt flavor influence.
