  • What we love

Alsace meets Oregon with this wonderful white blend from Brooks Winery located in the Willamette Valley. Produced with sustainably farmed grapes and without the use of pesticides, “Amycas” has everything you need to beat the doldrums, from its zippy acidity to flavors of pear, starfruit, citrus, and mint. Exotic, dry, aromatic, and thirst-quenching; perfect with spicy food or sushi night.

About this Wine

Amycas is inspired by the Edelzwicker (edel = noble, zwicker = blend) wines found in Alsace, and like its French cousins is very pleasurable, with or without food. This wine is a bargain at $18. Need a holiday "house white" on hand? This is it!

Janie Brooks Heuck & Pascal Brooks

Owners

Founded in 1998 by Jimi Brooks, who was a talented winemaker and known for his strong commitment to sustainable and biodynamic wine making. Sadly, Jimi passed away unexpectedly in 2004, and the winery is now owned by his 17-year old son, Pascal, who runs the winery with Jimi’s sister Janie Brooks Heuck.

Chris Williams became Brooks’ full-time winemaker in 2005 and has brought continuity to Brooks wines, sharing Jimi’s philosophy and style, and continuously showcasing the elegance of small-production Riesling and Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley.
