What we love
This cool-climate Pinot Noir shows off aromas of black plum and cherry, with background notes of star anise, peppercorn, and herbs. This bottle is perfect for sipping chilled with mushroom risottos, root vegetables, and traditional fall fare.
About this Wine
Located just three miles from the famed Freedom Hill Vineyard in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range, Giving Tree Vineyard is a relatively cool site, with a climate shaped by winds that blow regularly, cooling the vines, lengthening the growing season, and helping the fruit retain excellent acidity resulting in wines that are built for age-ability
Fun fact: the labels are beautiful textile pieces from the Edo period in Japan.
