The gem in Favia’s 2016 lineup is undeniably their 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Oakville Ranch vineyard located just above Dalla Valle in Napa. Earning 99 points, this beauty of a wine boasts a deep inky color, full-bodied richness, obvious rocky minerality, and tannins and structure galore. Deeply layered, with notes of crème de cassis, dark chocolate, cured olive, cherry, plum, and smoke. It’s a brilliant, brilliant wine.
