The 2018 RRV Pinot from Freeman is more dark fruited in focus – ripe plum, black cherry, and blueberry. A medium body, well integrated tannins, and just the right amount of balanced acidity make this Pinot immensely appealing and a wine that’s sure to be a crowd pleaser.
About this Wine
2018 was a magical vintage for the Russian River Valley and for all California appellations. We had near-perfect weather for the entire year, with adequate rainfall and an ideal mixture of warm, sunny days and cool, foggy mornings and evenings. Clusters ripened slowly through the summer and early fall, allowing enough time for layers of flavor development.
