On the nose, this Chardonnay has complex aromas of pineapple, butterscotch, brown sugar, banana and citrus while the rich palate exudes flavors of fig, pineapple, and citrus with hits of vanilla and spiced pear. A mouth-coating creaminess and long, persistent finish makes it irresistible.
About this Wine
Maldonado’s “Los Olivos Vineyard” Chardonnay is consistently one of the family winery’s best wines. Grapes for this wine are grown and produced from the Los Olivos Vineyard in Napa’s Jameson Canyon, one of the coolest regions in Napa Valley.
Fermented in 75% new French oak and 25% neutral French oak. Maldonado’s Chardonnay undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation, but has a great balance with bright acidity and fruit.
