Crémant de Loire like in style with a slight California twist, the Ultraviolet Sparkling Rosé is made mostly from Cabernet Franc, but with a touch of French Colombard, making for an interesting offering from the talented Samantha Sheehan of POE Wines. Delightfully easy and quaffable, this fruit-driven sparkling wine is floral and mineral-driven with notes of strawberry, peach, and ruby red grapefruit.
About this Wine
Ultraviolet is Samantha Sheehan’s second label under which she makes Cabernet Sauvignon. She recently added this sparkling rosé to the lineup (and we’re thrilled she did!). Both wines are made in an artisanal manner, without any additives other than a judicious amount of sulfur.
