What we love
The Estate vineyard of Patricia Green Cellars have some of the oldest vines of this warmer region of the Willamette Valley, some planted as far back as 1984. The Ribbon Ridge AVA is known for its riper more generous fruit profile which provides for some amazing wine. Flavors deftly mix black cherry, coffee and sandalwood, with toasted walnut highlights. The fruit-acid-tannin balance is textbook perfect. Quality fruit and complexity in the vineyard combine to make a can’t miss Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.
About this Wine
The difference between the older and younger blocks on the Patricia Green estate is always pretty amazing to people. As these old vines tap their roots deep into the soft sub-soil they eventually make contact with the spring-fed, mineralized water on the property. This brings a whole new element to the flavor and texture profile of the wine. Delicious and lip-smacking good!
