2018 Vin Gris of Pinot Noir
Los Carneros AVA, Napa Valley, CA
Robert Sinskey Vineyards
What we love
Robert Sinskey Vineyards is synonymous with exciting and captivating wines. Using organic and biodynamic methods, RSV has produced a fabulous rosé from Pinot Noir grapes. It is silky, elegant, and complex, with a refreshingly dry palate and floral and strawberry notes. This wine speaks of California sunshine and is consistently one of the finest domestic rosés in the marketplace.
About this Wine
RSV’s Los Carneros vineyards in Napa Valley provide excellent conditions for rosé. The cooling winds from the abutting San Pablo Bay, combined with lots of midday California sunshine, create an ideal environment for producing wines with a perfect balance of crisp acidity and well-ripened fruit. Though this wine is intended to be consumed young, it has a structure to age surprisingly well, as the primary fruit notes evolve into savory herb and spice complexity.
This rosé is best experienced well chilled and with food, even if it's just a bowl of olives or a dark purple smear of tapenade on croutons. But as with all rosés, the Vin Gris hangs in the netherworld between white and red. Its non-partisan disposition equates to versatility at the table, so you can pair it with anything. Enjoy!

Great fruit and delicate handling makes for a brilliant wine of pure hedonistic joy.
