About this Wine

Several of the Walla Walla Valley’s top vineyards, including Pepper Bridge and Seven Hills went into this marvelous red wine. Although this wine is labeled “Merlot” there is a touch of both Cabernet Sauvignon to add power and structure, and Cabernet Franc for spice and bramble.

The attention-getting nose of fig chutney and cedar jumps from the glass and draws you in, followed by aromas of chocolate-covered cherries, plums and raspberry bramble, and oak-derived fragrances of vanilla and sandalwood. The taste profile mirrors its aromas, with depth of flavor provided by a clove/nutmeg component that highlights the richness of its fruit. It finishes with a slight tug of tannin that merely invites another sip. Suggested pairings range from salmon and tuna to decadent chocolate mousse with fresh berries.
